June - August - Outdoor in our Pavilion at 7:00 pm.
September - May - Worship and Holy Communion inside Beaver Valley Lutheran in the Fellowship Hall at 6:15 pm
Beaver Valley is an active, in-this-world-for-good congregation with members coming from many miles to be a part of this faith family. One of the most telling statistics we reference about our congregation is to note that we have children from no less than six different school districts who make up our Sunday School and Confirmation classes!
The phrase “all are welcome” means that—regardless of race, age, political leanings, economic status or, yes, school mascot—we say to all, “Come to the Valley to Grow in Faith.”
While Beaver Valley counts our rural setting as one of our strengths upon which we are building this ministry, that most of our members work in the city adds to the rich mix of insights that we are tapping as we grow out into this world.
And let’s say this clearly: we are first a worshipping community. In our 100-year-old sanctuary, we sing traditional hymns and contemporary songs as we gather to remind one another of what a life lived in Christ is all about.
We worship in a new outdoor setting, too! In our new Pavilion (the outdoor worship venue on the east edge of our ministry campus), we allow creation to be our sanctuary as we gather for shorter chapel services on Wednesday evenings, often accompanied by guitar and piano music.
Holy Communion is open to all who understand their need for forgiveness and know that forgiveness comes from God as the perfect gift. Communion is served both on Sundays and Wednesdays.
What to expect? Expect to be welcomed. Expect to be included in the life of this congregation if you choose to stay.Expect that God will see to it that here in this Valley, we will together grow in our faith.
