March 22nd, Sunday, 12:30-3:30 p.m. – Church Council Retreat
Once a year the council gathers to prayerfully engage in a topic of conversation pertinent to the ministry that is ours. This year we will spend our time making sure we are aware of each committee’s goals for 2020 as well as talk deeply about a challenging article entitled, “Will the ELCA be Here in 30 years?” This provoking article challenges us to consider how it is we “do” the gospel in changing times (all the while recognizing that people are just the same as they have always been). Prayers for the council are asked for.
